What to expect on your first Orthodontics visit at Braces Now 14

Your first visit to our office will consist of a consultation that explains your options for diagnosis and treatment. The treatment can be done the same day of the consultation. However, a history or complex medical treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Please help us with the following information at the time of the consultation:

  • Your referral document and any radiography if you have any.
  • A list of medications you are currently taking.
  • If you have medical or dental insurance, provide these documents prior to your visit. This will save you time and allow us to help you process any claim.
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must come with all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.
Please advise the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to any treatment (eg diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are taking any Medicines (eg, heart medicines, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication before dental cleaning (ie antibiotics, for pre-med.)
X Rays.
If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (less than 6 months), you can request that they be transmitted to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and take them to our office. If additional radiography are necessary, these can be taken at our facilities.
